Wild Teasel, Dipsacus Fullonum are beautiful wildlife friendly plants. They have superb green foliage throughout spring, a delightful purple flower head all summer long and last the Autumn and winter with great structural prowess. As well as these incredible features, the wild teasel is up there with the greatest plants for wildlife. It provides shelter and food for insects, pollen in spring and summer which the bees will love and if the stems are left for the winter, they attract birds such as goldfinches who love their seeds.
