Carex Pendula (Pendulous Sedge) is a beautifully striking moisture loving grass. It can work well in a bog garden or a well watered site. They do well in a poorly drained loam or clay soil but will grow in most media. It is an evergreen grass that prefers full or partial sun and will flower in the summer. You can expect this grass to grow to around 1.5 metres high and have a spread of around 0.5 metres. Carex Pendula is fully hardy in all areas of the UK.
